We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2020, at the age of 78, Stephen Jerome Plautz of Hendersonville, Tennessee, born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Plautz (Meljac) and Steven Plautz. He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Ellen (Lynch); his wife Marge; his daughters, Stephani Ryan (Ed) of Nashville, TN and Shannon (Courtney Smith) of Tampa, FL.; his siblings, Cynthia Ringenbach (Leonard) of Cleveland, OH and Robert "Bud" Plautz of New York, NY; and his stepgrandchildren, Zach Ryan (Meighan) and Colleen Ryan. He is also survived by several cousins, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family instead suggests donations to Steve's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
