He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elwood Garrett and Dorothy Dean Garrett; his wife Jane Pfitzer Garrett; his sons, Stephen Elwood Garrett, Jr. (Emily), David William Garrett (Julie) and Patrick Alexander Garrett; his granddaughter Eleanor Paige Garrett (Ellie); his brother William James Garrett; his brothers-in-law, Charlie Pfitzer and Steve Pfitzer (Stephanie); and his nieces, Kathleen Wild (Scotty), Rebekah Pfitzer and Sarah Anne Pfitzer.
