She was predeceased by: her parents, Lightford V. Brashears and Edna Noah Brashears; her husband William F. Carter; and her brother Ray Brashears. She is survived by: her friends, Judy McCreary, Sylvia Vest and Judy Yates; her children, Michael Carter (Maria), David Carter and Terri Capel (Steve); her grandchildren, Leanne, Haley, Katie, Devon, Wesley, Megan and James; her great grandchildren, Crosley and Camden; and her brother Ronnie Brashears.
