He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Byron Roberts and Lucille Bowman; his son Joseph Roberts; his stepson Dale Verhein; his daughter LaRae Roberts; and his stepdaughter Lisa Spiess.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Roussel Roberts; his children, Horace Roberts (Julie) and Jolene Ott (Aaron); his stepdaughter Lesli Carter (Ronald); his stepson-in-law Ernest Spiess (Lisa); and his siblings, Gail Panser of Enon, OH and Edgar Lansford of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
