He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Harold and Rosa Gill Reeves. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Crews Reeves; his children, Robin Willmore (Tim) of Gallatin, Amy Denley (Eric) of Louisville and Chris Reeves (Allie) of Mt. Juliet; his siblings, Carol Stone of Franklin, Marian Williams of Colombia, Tennessee, Harold Reeves (Pam) of Franklin, Mike Reeves of Pleasant View and Donald Reeves (Carolyn) of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Nick Green, Abi Green of Gallatin, Eliza Denley, Molly-Louise Denley, Isaac Denley of Louisville and Crews Reeves of Mt. Juliet.
