He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred Fennell and Mary Sue Fennell (Sutton). He is survived by: his wife June Fennell; his children, Michael Fennell (Jackie) of Madison, Suzanne Fennell of Nashville and Kenneth Fennell (Erin) of Smithville, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Carly York (Ryan), Anna Fennell, Julia Fennell and Peter Fennell; and his brother Robert Wayne Fennell (Gayle) of Hendersonville, Tennessee..
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
