She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Hugh Bates and Lettie Rodgers Bates; and her husband Ollie Franklin "Frank" Griffin. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Griffin, Mark Griffin (Andrea) and Norman Griffin (Sandie); her granddaughter Crystal Carby (Daric); her sister Jean Davis; and her sister-in-law Janie McClure.
