He is survived by: his brothers, William Selton Patterson, Raymond Patterson, Thurman Patterson, Rome Edward Patterson, Curtis Patterson and Jimmy Stanton Patterson; his wife Betty Sue McClanahan; his children, Paul Michael "Mike" Patterson (Darlene) and Kimberly Ann Roberts (Jimmy); and his grandsons, Brent Michael Patterson and Matthew Austin Roberts.
