He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Meurer and Marguerite Meurer; and his siblings, Paul, William, George and Joanne Matthews.
He is survived by: his close friend Jean Funderburk; his siblings, JC of Bastrop, TX and Rosemary Schulter of Danville, CA.; his children, Nicholas Meurer (Kristi) and Mia Billingsley (Scott); his grandchildren, Joli Overstreet, Hope Meurer (Austin), Joseph Meurer and Kelsey Norman; his great grandchildren, Brayden Overstreet and Bennett Overstreet; his former wife Donna Meurer; his stepson Eric (Velma); his grandchildren, Robert and Jordan; and his great grandchild Montgomery Funderburk.
