She is survived by: her husband Ernest Bates; her sons, Richard Lee Bates, Douglas Randall Bates and Thomas Jeffery Bates; her granddaughters, Lauren Marie Bates and Lindsey Marie Grizzard (Bret); her great grandchild Charlotte Marie Grizzard; and her sisters, Sandra Smith (Jean) and Peggy Harrison (Jim).
