She was predeceased by: her parent John Otter Shaw; her husband Frederick Phin; and her daughter Donna Jurena. She is survived by: her parent Gertrude Ashbach Shaw; her children, Joy Braciszewski (Ken), Wayne Phin (Cathy) and Frederick Phin (Teresa); and her son-in-law David Jurena. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
