He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy and Newsome K. Alexander, Sr.; and his siblings, Barry Alexander and Lisa Cole. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly; his brother Kevin Alexander; his mother-in-law Norma Divinny; his siblings-in-law, Paula Dyer and Tommy Cole; his nieces, Amy Riddle (Marshall), Katie Cole and Lilly Dyer; his nephew Spencer Dyer; and his great-nephew Cole Riddle.
