We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2025, at the age of 94, Nellie F. Wheeler (Hendersonville, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Nellie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Nellie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson Weatherly and Willie Lee Talley Weatherly; her husband Russell Edward Wheeler; her daughter Melanie Ridge; and her granddaughter Misty Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Ventress (Randy), Karen Graves (Cliff) and Jenny Randolph; and her son-in-law Steve Ridge. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; and her 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital in Nellie Wheeler's honor.
