He was predeceased by: his wife Winifred Jo Cole; his brother Cleveland Cole, Jr.; and his pet Groucho. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Cole and Jennifer Butterworth (Clark); his grandchildren, Michael Holehan, Karah Prock, Laura Wright (David), Dr. Ariel Cole Dunn (Zack), Kennedy Butterworth and Aren Butterworth; his great grandchildren, Lennox, Warner Jo, Arthur and Reverie; his siblings, Sandra Roberson, Carolyn Willis, Kay Brewington, Rick Cole, Tonya Mosier and Luther Carrol; and his daughter Melanie England Craig.
