He was predeceased by: his parents, Reeder Holt and Florence Hall Holt; and his son Christopher Austin Holt. He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his son Phillip Holt (Paige); his grandchildren, Campbell, Audrey and Hagan; his sister Dorinda Gaw (Jack); his nephews, Rob, Jeff (Jaclyn) and Mark (Melanie); and his great-nephews, Alex and Jackson Gaw.
In lieu of floral tributes the family has requested that contributions be made to the Madison Church of Christ missions fund.
