It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Lyn Barnes (Hendersonville, Tennessee), born in Murray, Kentucky, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Kayla Barnes (Jackson); his mother Connie Maynord (Barnes); his stepfather Chris; his father Gary Barnes; his stepmother Sandy; and his brother Dominic Barnes (Corey Young).
In lieu of flowers, Matthew would like donations made in his name to both the Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, TN and the Alive Hospice Facility in Nashville, TN. These donations will help progress forward the ultimate goal Matthew always had: caring for others.
