She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ellis and Maggie Ellis; her husband John Andrew Goehring, Jr; and her sister Elizabeth Shirley. She is survived by: her daughter Sara Goehring; her nephews, Marcus Shirley and Stan Shirley (Martha); and her niece Suzanne Brynum (Gene).
