It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Pearl McDuffie (Hendersonville, Tennessee), born in Franklin, Kentucky, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orbery Lowery and Myrtle Lowery; her husband Julius; and her close friend Chris Harris. She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Debbie McDuffie), Dennis (Debbie McDuffie) and Tony (Bari McDuffie); her grandchildren, Steve McDuffie, Jr. (Erin), Ryan McDuffie (Lindsey), Lauren McDuffie, Adam McDuffie (Chanel), Jenny McDuffie, David McDuffie and Jeremy McDuffie; her great grandchildren, Brylee, Emery and Cade McDuffie; her sister-in-law Betty Lowery; and her friends, Gwen and Harold Kuhn. She is also survived by her siblings.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Backpack Ministry of First Baptist Church, which feeds children throughout Sumner County.
