He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Smith; and his sister Debbie Sands. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Smith; his stepdaughter Susan Edwards; his grandchildren, Kali Edwards, Richard Edwards and Daniel Edwards; his great grandchild Lilly; his niece Tanya Sands; his nephew Brett Sands; and his close friends, Don Ford and Shawn Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
