It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenton Paul Helms of Hendersonville, Tennessee, born in Paris, Tennessee, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenton Helms and Daisy Helms (Workman); and his sisters, Drucilla Owens (Helms) and Emmie Louise Helms. He is survived by: his wife Emily Helms (Wansing); his daughters, Kristie Helms Nettles (Kathryn) of Nashville, TN and Katie Nelson (Helms) of Gallatin, TN; his grandson Reid P. H. Nelson of Gallatin, TN; his sister Marcilla Wimberley (Helms) of Paris, TN; his friends, James "Jimmy" Elliott of Paris, TN and Furman W. Muzzall, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; and his pet Penny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
