He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Zimmerman. He is survived by: his children, Todd (Tonya), Scottie (Tiffany), Michelle Zimmerman and Matt Brement (Deborah); and his brother Lester Palmer. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
