She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nichols and Elizabeth Nichols (Bainey); and her daughter Kimberlee Yates Nielsen. She is survived by: her daughter Julie Yates; her brother William "Bill" Nichols of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, Brandon Ouelette of Nashville and Elizabeth "Beth" Nielsen of Nashville; and her friends, Joe Lewis and Shirley Carter.

Judy was an organ donor, and no services will be held due to social distancing.
