She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thornton and Alice Marie Sudberry. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Egan (Brian), Missy Matson and James Blocker; her grandchildren, Hailey Brewer (Jeff), Wesley Matson (Keeley), Leah Brant (Ethan), Drew Egan, Martin Matson, Cole Egan and Grace Egan; her great grandchildren, Allie Brewer, Levi Brewer, Emma Katherine Brewer and Anna Matson; her brother Jim Thornton (Pat); her half-sisters, Patty Poe and Betty Sullivan; and her nephews, Jay Thornton and Matt Thornton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
