She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurley Gourley and Willie Gourley. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Jeffrey Scott Jordan (Paula) and Dr. Jason S. Jordan (Anita); her grandchildren, Sarah, Sydney, Abigail, Madeline, MaKayla, Ian and Molly; and her siblings, Ronnie Gourley (Klaudene), Gene Gourley (Mindy) and Diana Mundy.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery (3216 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN 37075).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Hope Baptist Church in Nita Jordan's honor.
