He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Thompson; his grandchildren, Michael Thompson (Brittany) and Tiffany Thompson (Liz); his great grandchild Brooklyn Thompson; and his sister Carol Thompson (Brenda Mayer).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Salvation Army.
