He is survived by: his wife Joan Pond Cook; his daughters, Sarah Renee Lund (John Pepper) of Hendersonville, TN and Jennifer Rae Melton (Michael); his brothers, Jerry Cook of Orlinda, TN and Marvin Cook (Kay); his son-in-law Karl Covington; his sister Lanola Davis (Tommy); and his grandchildren, Joshua, David, Katherine Covington, Jessica Covington Brehm, Kyle, Nolan, Taylor and Spencer Melton.
