It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert Bass Sr. (Hendersonville, Tennessee), who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Troy Bass and Littie Bass; and his sister Dorothy Bass Russell. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Jo Bass; his children, Rhonda Jo Bruce (Wade), John Robert Bass, Jr. (Tammy) and Ronald Jay Bass (Kerri); his siblings, Betty Jane Phillips, Homer Houston Bass (Reita) and James Ellis Bass (Christie); and his grandchildren, Darrian Jefferson (Chris), Delaney Lawson (John), John Robert Bass III, Corey Edward Bass, Owen Riley Bass and Ellis Keaton Bass.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Faith Baptist Church (1602 Gallatin Pike N, Madison, TN 37115). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Faith Baptist Church's Homeless Ministry in John Bass's honor.
