We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2023, at the age of 97, John Lee Smith of Hendersonville, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shaffer Smith and Mattie Pearl Dearman Smith; his wife Jane Boehms Smith; his sons, Joseph, Jonathan and Jason; his grandson Sumner Smith; and his siblings, James Smith, Bradley Smith, George Smith and Earline Tyler.
He is survived by: his children, Joni Batson, Jeff Smith (Kelly), Jerry Smith (Tanya) and Jay Smith (Shannon); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy Batson (Laura), Jessica, Jacob Smith, Ryan, Alex, Trey Smith, Riley Baker, Tom and Lily Smith; and his great grandchildren, Emmaline and Ethan Batson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
