We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2021, at the age of 87, Jim R Claiborne of Hendersonville, Tennessee, born in Allen, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Newton Claiborne and Zora Snider Claiborne; and his siblings, Charlie, Leslie, Donnie, Earl, Duel, Ray, Harvey, Jr. and Estelle.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Holland Claiborne; his children, Robert Nelson Claiborne, Bryan Lee Claiborne (Tina) and Deborah Lynn Darnell (Steve); his niece Lisa Kaye Martinez (Marty); his grandchildren, Kimberly Michelle Shearin, Tiffany Dawn Turner, Kristina Robin Claiborne, Christopher Nelson Claiborne, Robert Kaden Claiborne, Jacob Taylor Moore, Denna Faye Martinez and Ryan Robert Martinez; and his brother Clessie Claiborne. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions may be made to the building fund at Temple Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
