It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Wilious Vann Powell (Hendersonville, Tennessee), born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Etta Lovelass Broyles Vann and Reuben M. Vann; her husband William C. Powell, Sr.; and her brother Doyle Davis. She is survived by: her sons, William C. Powell, Jr. (Connie) and Robert L. Powell (Sandra); her grandchildren, Priscilla Kahne (Jason), Michelle Watts, Marilyn Neff (Ethan) and Will Powell; her great grandchild Kiera Watts; her nieces, Vonda Shelton (Howard), Cynthia Poyner (Marcel), Lynda Kay Rowe (Lewis), Glenn Fuqua and Elisabeth Register (Kurt); and her great-nieces, Lori Shelton Longest (Bruce) and Laurel Register.
