With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Gutzman (Hendersonville, Tennessee), who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Butler and Carolyn Butler. She is survived by: her children, Abby Pace (Adam Pace) of Knoxville, Adam Gutzman (Cassie Gutzman) of Chattanooga and Zach Gutzman (Maleya Garrison) of Knoxville; and her siblings, Marcia Reel of Cookeville and Lee Butler of Cookeville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews she loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Jeanette's memory.

“Jeanette was a one of a kind. She thought of others over needs. She was so full of energy/life, and it quickly rubbed off of others. Quick to spark ups a conservation with others of any walk of life. She was definitely a people person and loved all. She was a very conscientious, dedicated, and a high achiever as a teacher at Hunter Middle School. We spent lots of time traveling to lots of locations in my 10 years as her companion. I will deeply miss her as will all that knew her. Rodney B”
