He is survived by: his parents, James Carter and Debbie Carter; his siblings, Grace, Shiannee Carter of Hendersonville and Aladeen Stoll of St. Louis, Missouri.; his uncles, David (Melissa Carter), Aaron (Christy Carter), Craig (Gina Boyd) and Jonathan (Esther Carpenter); his aunt Sheri Boyd of Tulsa; his great-uncle Cal; his great-aunt Linda Vanloh of Portland, Oregon.; his sons, Damian and Ben Carter; his significant other Karen Morales; and also Sally Carter of Portland, Tennessee..

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to a Go Fund Me Fund that has been set up in his name.
