He was predeceased by: his parents, Malachi Wilson "Dub" Capps and Anna Lee Capps; and his son James Michael "Mikey" Capps. He is survived by: his wife Carol Capps; his children, Connie Angell (Rusty), Christy Croft (Mason) and Curt Capps; his stepchildren, Anthony Ventura (Heidi), Daniel Ventura (Alex) and Dina Ventura (April); his grandchildren, Erik Upshaw (Rosa), Aaron Upshaw (Kristin), Macey Croft, Shelby Croft, Landon Croft, Haley Capps (Brian) and Austin Capps; his stepgrandchildren, Clara Ventura, Amelia Ventura, Gia Ventura, Sterling Ventura and Avis Shipman; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Norah, Amelia and Jackson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers or Wounded Warrior Project in Ronnie's memory.
