He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Jackson and Irene Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Eric Paul Jackson (Kadi), James Scott Jackson (Jennifer) and Terri Lynn Jackson; and his grandchildren, Valerie Michelle Cannon (Adam), Rachael Danielle Jackson, Kellie Anne Jackson, Kaitlin Jackson Shayotovich (Drew) and Connor Ryan Jackson. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Alive Hospice (https://www.alivehospice.org) or Operation Stand Down Tennessee.
