With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Hughes of Hendersonville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Hughes and Anne Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Hughes; his children, Steven Hughes (Monica), Michael Patrick Hughes (Eileen) and Aline Hughes Thompson; and his brother Ken Hughes. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren; his four great grandchildren.
