He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Garrie Brasher and Maggie Brasher (Tribble); his wife Carolyn Sturdivant Brasher of Hendersonville; his children, John Brasher of Oxford, Martha Brasher Boone (Tom) of Nashville and Sally Brasher Peasall (Michael) of White House, TN; his grandchildren, Carolyn Elizabeth Bledsoe (Boone), Philip Lawrence Boone, Sarah Joyce McGuffey (Peasall), Hannah Grace Fisher (Peasall), Leah Faith Bryan (Peasall), Joseph Clay Peasall, Emma Caroline Peasall and Julia Elizabeth Peasall; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Henry Bledsoe, Adelaide Elizabeth Bledsoe, Jack Avett Bryan, Lillian Eila Bryan and Langford Oaks McGuffey.
