He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Marion Garrett and Ruby Pauline Mabry Garrett; and his sister Nancy Slaughter. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Garrett; his children, Mark Garrett (Kelley) and Kim Crane (Brian); his grandchildren, Tyler Garrett (Hannah) and Megan Garrett; his great grandchildren, Rowan and Heath Garrett; and his sister Gail Overcash.
