He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Heatherly and Myrtle Chapman Heatherly. He is survived by: his wife Nola Heatherly; his children, Eric Heatherly and Christina Kingsbury; his granddaughters, Christiana Faye Heatherly and Tia Annalise Kingsbury; and his siblings, Thelma McCreary, Glen Heatherly, Louise Goins and Clara Norris.
