It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Marie Dougherty (Hendersonville, Tennessee), born in Gainesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on May 12, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Vanhooser and Polly Ann Jones Vanhooser; her husband Lenard Gray Dougherty, Sr.; and her brother Junior Vanhooser. She is survived by: her children, Donna Gray Rainwater (Joe), Lenard Gray Dougherty, Jr. (Sheila) and Thomas Joseph Dougherty (Deb); and her sister Helen Porter. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
