With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Dodson Johnson in Hendersonville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Dodson and Gale Dodson; her son Larry Johnson; and her great great grandchild Brook West. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Elmer Johnson; her daughters, Vickie Johnson of Hendersonville, Connie Kesselring (Eric) of Kansas City and Sandy Beaty (Rob) of Mt. Juliet; her grandchildren, Brandyn West (Tyler) and Andrew Kesselring; and her daughter Fran Hubbard Kingsport (Johnny). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the GoodNaz Church (400 Loretta Dr, Goodlettsville, TN 37072).
