She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tom Simpson and Nadine Simpson; her husband Mel Arnold; her sister Peggy Montgomery; her children, Melanie Hicks (Tom), Lauri Byrd (Stuart) and Julie Gettys (Bobby); her stepson Don Arnold (Chris); and her grandchildren, Jordan Hicks, Madeleine Kintzing (Paul), Blake Byrd (Kristyn), Jake Gettys (Jenna) and Jessie Gettys. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
