Slate of Hendersonville, Tennessee, born in Prospect, Tennessee, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fisher and Edna Elder; and her husband Morris W. Slate. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Slate (Teresa) and Steve Slate (Gail); her grandchildren, Daniel Slate (Susie), David Slate, Nathan Slate and DeeAnna Mosier (Josh); her great grandchildren, Samantha, Isabelle, Vera, Etta Mae, Bella, Roman and Holly; and her siblings, Bobby Elder (Doris), Martha Ann Clifton and Elaine Willis.
