She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matt and Myrtle LaPrairie Bingham; her husband Hickman J. Gibson; and her siblings, John L. Bingham, Beverly Bingham, Billy Bingham, Stanley Bingham and Myrna Kintgen Stone.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Jeffrey Gibson (Stephanie) and Keith Gregory Gibson (Lisa); her grandchildren, Blake Timothy Gibson, Brent Edward Gibson (Katie), Shane Christopher Gibson (Alex) and Sarah Elizabeth Carter (Preston); and her great grandchildren, John Wyatt Gibson, James Ryan Gibson and Hayes Elizabeth Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed 21 years with the American Cancer Society as an administrative/program director and assisting with fundraising until retiring in 1997.
