He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Bechman and Virginia Bechman; and his sister Debra Bechman. He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Bechman, Jr. (Dina), Daniel Bechman (Suzanne) and Andrew Bechman (Raven); his stepson Jeremy Townes (Christie); his grandchildren, Jesse, Genna Pace, Ivan, Graham, Liam Bechman, Anna Kate, Dean, Dawson, Ginny Grace Bechman, Austin, Ethan, Brayli and Joslyn Townes; and his great grandchildren, Charlie and Pheobie McCann.
