He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alonzo Ginn and Grace Kelley; his son George Kelly; and his brother Jack Ginn. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Ginn; his children, Timothy (Ashley), Georgia, Brian, Gregory, Christina (Amanda), Christopher (Natalie), Jessica (Devin, Sr.) and Jennifer; and his sister JoAnn Johnson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
