It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Richard Light of Hendersonville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Light and Marguerite Redding Light; and his brother Warren Light. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Hartwich (Oliver); his sisters, Lavonne Bishop (Larry) and Patricia Milam (Vic); and his grandsons, Brice, Jackson, Lincoln, Declan and Deacon.

I will miss Richard, and I’m grateful for all of the wonderful memories I have of him.”

“I first met Richard when I was in my early 20’s, when I was dating his sister Lavonne. Richard has been a part of my life for most of my life. The 70’s were some of my best memories of Richard, hanging out with Lavonne, Richard, and his girlfriend Renee’. The early mornings at the duplex, all of us cooking BLT’s, was so much fun. Richard was like having a younger brother who I had to look after. When he was in high school, I was the chaperone at his parties.”
