Larry Bishop wrote a sympathy message

“It is with a very heavy heart, knowing he is no longer going to send me text messages each and every morning, about the weather there. I’d send back a message about what was going on here. He’d always end his message with, “Best To The West.” It’s not right to have someone younger than you, leave this world before you. I love you my brother, I will miss you, and will always hold you and OUR memories close to my heart. Until we meet again, I love you and miss you, brother.”

Larry Bishop wrote a sympathy message

“Richard was always a person who once you met him, it was like you’ve known him for your entire life. As Heather, Richard’s daughter said, he never met a stranger he didn’t know. The first time Richard met my older brother Merrell, Merrell said, Richard acted like he’d known me for years. That was Richard. Not many people are as kind, generous, and loving as Richard was. I will miss Richard, and I’m grateful for all of the wonderful memories I have of him.”

Larry Bishop wrote a sympathy message

“. He would often say, I was the best brother ever. The trips I made to Tennessee to spend time with him working on different things with the family farm. The two of us driving up to his property; talking that late night up in the loft of the old family barn with a full moon; going to work with him, and watching him do what he did best for many years, printing country western stars promotional materials. Those were good times I’ll always remember.”

Larry Bishop wrote a sympathy message

“I first met Richard when I was in my early 20’s, when I was dating his sister Lavonne. Richard has been a part of my life for most of my life. The 70’s were some of my best memories of Richard, hanging out with Lavonne, Richard, and his girlfriend Renee’. The early mornings at the duplex, all of us cooking BLT’s, was so much fun. Richard was like having a younger brother who I had to look after. When he was in high school, I was the chaperone at his parties.”

“My condolences to the family and friends. I knew Richard back in junior High/high school. He was a great dear friend back then. Recently he reached out to me on Facebook and it was like our friendship had never ended. It picked up where we left off. I am sorry for the loss and the pain you all feel. He left us way too early.”
