He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay B. Futrell and Fay Futrell (Kennerly); his wife Wanda; and his siblings, Effie Hurt, Cottlan Futrell, Estelle Hall, Jay Futrell, Jr., Clorice Sanders and Betty Bloodworth.
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Sandra and Rickey; his children, Orvis Futrell (Sandra) and Kim Miles (Rickey); his grandchildren, Keyana, Candy (James) and Cori (Mark); his great grandchildren, Sam, Savannah (John), Emma and Lanie; and his sister Brenda York. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
