He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Krebs and Bongene Krebs (Simpson). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Matt Krebs (Kim), Karla Correll and Karen Davis (Johnny); his grandchildren, Amanda (Robert), Ashley (John), Katie (Aaron), Matthew, Morgan (Kayla), Mitchell, Meredith and Aleita; his great grandchildren, Shaun, Tucker and Levi; and his siblings, Russell (Barbara), Tommy (Sue), Judy (Pete), Louella (Grady), Donna (Robert) and Randy (Rhonda). He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations be made in memory of Gene Krebs to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Shriner Children's Hospital.
