We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2024, at the age of 89, Edward D. Eckert Sr. of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Eckert and Beatrice Eckert; and his wife Yoshiko Eckert. He is survived by: his children, Edward Eckert, Jr. (Jacqueline) and Inez Willis (Mike); his grandchildren, Christina Reed, Cherish Willis, Anson Eckert, Ciara Willis, Trent Willis and Jacob Willis; his great grandchildren, Steven Mills, Garrett Mills and Isla Eckert; and his siblings, Patricia Longcore, Charles Eckert, Dorothy Rombousek and Wesley Eckert.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside (104 Sanders Ferry Rd, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).
