He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Coleman Riddle and Ernestine Riddle (Eaves); his wife Linda Riddle (White); his daughters, Christy Pence and Donna Hall; his grandson Casey Pence; his siblings, Joyce Riley and Thomas Riddle; and his sister-in-law Pat Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Smith (Brian) and Donald Riddle, Jr. (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Shanon Pennington, Jeremy Stocks, Drew Stocks (Haley) and Daniel Pennington; his siblings, James "Jimmy" Riddle (Juanita) and Joanne Grissom; and his sister-in-law Mary Webb. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
